Position Overview:
This is an individual contributor role ａｎｄ expected to have the capability to manage assigned category sourcing ａｎｄ deliver results by achieving excellence in on-time, with quality ａｎｄ cost efficiency for the category.

Sourcing Manager
Essential Duties:
1. Conduct sourcing activities for University&amp；＃039；s Operation service including facility management, renovation ａｎｄ upgrading service etc.
2. Prepare forecast ａｎｄ demand plan by working with request offices across the university, ａｎｄ effectively implement sourcing plan.
3. Drive category excellence through in-depth study ａｎｄ analysis of relevant market data ａｎｄ benchmarking information, continuous improvement in processes ａｎｄ cost control scheme, ａｎｄ optimization of solutions.
4. Understand users, take initiatives ａｎｄ identify opportunities in working with other offices to achieve the best possible results for DKU.
5. Develop supplier pool ａｎｄ manage suppliers through effective ａｎｄ systematic approach, including standard setting, KPI assessment, performance monitoring, etc.
6. Understand ａｎｄ adhere to university policies ａｎｄ guidelines as well as relevant procurement rules ａｎｄ regulations to ensure compliance.
7. Assist in executing government procurement activity according to the regulation.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
1. Full-time bachelor’s degree ｏｒ above, major in business administration ｏｒ supply chain. CIPS ｏｒ CPSM ｏｒ other Supply Chain Management related certificate is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of procurement experience with recent 3 years handling sourcing activities, with exposure to education industry, ｏｒ large group enterprises, ｏｒ reputable foreign invested enterprises.
3. Excellent communication ａｎｄ interpersonal skills to be able to interact ａｎｄ work comfortably with people at different levels, cross-functions, ａｎｄ ｆｒｏｍ different cultures.
4. Customer-focused with good planning ａｎｄ stakeholder management skills.
5. Self-disciplined, quick learner with ability to work independently, while can also work well in a team setting.
6. Excellent time management, project management skills, high work efficiency ａｎｄ ability to work under pressure ａｎｄ multitasking.
7. Skilled in using software ａｎｄ applications including popular ERP system, MS-Office applications, etc.
8. Excellent Chinese ａｎｄ English skills both verbal ａｎｄ in writing.
9. Strong data analytical skills ａｎｄ problem solving.
10. Strong professional ethics.
